BNC-Video signal amplifier

When you have to install cables with lenghts of over 300m (328 yards), the image quality can decrease. That's when our brand new signal amplifier LE949 comes into play. It amplifies the signal strength and, additionally, it balances distortions picked up during the signals long run through the cable. You have the possibility to choose between three amplification levels. Every level boosts the signal additionally for approx. +8dB. So you get an overall signal amplification of up to 24dB.

Cable attenuation depends on frequency response and cable length:

RG59 coaxial cable used with a 380TVL colour camera (5 MHz):

• without amplification up to 300m (328 yards) total reach
• with amplification up to 1.500m (1640 yards) total reach

RG59 coaxial cable used with a 540TVL colour camera (10 MHz):

• without amplification up to 200m (218 yards) total reach
• with amplification up to 800m (874 yards) total reach
